Residential Drug Rehab Centers in Baltimore, Maryland
The first step in looking for Residential Drug Rehab Centers in Baltimore, Maryland, is to decide if you should enter into a short-term or long-term residential rehabilitation center. Private long-term residential programs are the most effective form of treatment for addiction. Outpatient drug rehabilitation programs can offer a good alternative for light drug and alcohol users. Residential drug rehab centers are typically outside of the hospital system and offer longer stays. Residential rehabs are live-in treatment homes. This type of drug rehab center can often also address some of the underlying psychological or behavioral problems associated with drug and alcohol addictions. People with mental or medical concerns, as well as substance use disorders, are the most likely to use residential treatment. Inpatient residential drug rehab centers can open the door to long-lasting recovery. Please contact us by phone for immediate assistance. Finding the right fit for the person needing treatment is crucial for rehabilitation to be effective. This will be the first and most important step in a person’s recovery. Specialized treatment programs for substance abuse disorders may be what an individual needs to recover from addictions to drugs or alcohol. Almost every residential treatment program is different and specializes in one or more therapy models for substance abuse counseling and treatment. Being informed of the drug of choice, circumstances surrounding the addiction, medical history, and mental health concerns will help determine what type of inpatient or outpatient treatment program will give you the tools needed to recover from addiction. Addiction to drugs or alcohol can be a complex and often isolating disease. It is best handled by enrolling in a residential drug or alcohol rehab center program.Residential Drug Rehab Centers offer evidence-based treatment in an inpatient setting. Many different types of inpatient rehab centers for addiction are available in Baltimore, including over 88 treatment centers that take Medicaid, 18 inpatient drug rehabs, 48 drug rehabs that take private insurance such as Blue Cross, Humana, or Aetna, 85 outpatient programs, and at least 19 detox centers. We can help you find a drug rehab center that will work not only with your addiction but also align with your beliefs and expectations for substance abuse treatment.
It is sometimes beneficial for the client to go to treatment further away from home. Getting away from temptations and friends who may still be using is often better for many people. Clients who go to rehab in another state also have a harder time leaving treatment early as well. Depending on the situation, our counselors may suggest looking for substance abuse programs that are a plane flight away. Our addiction specialists can verify your insurance, answer any questions you may have, and help you or a loved one get into treatment today.

Maryland updated addiction rates and substance abuse-involved deaths for the reporting year of 2020. There were 2,773 unintentional intoxication deaths involving all types of drugs and alcohol in Maryland in 2020. This represents a 16.6 percent increase from 2019, when there were 2,379 such fatalities. Fentanyl was involved in 2,326 intoxication deaths in 2020, an increase of 20.7 percent from 2019. Fentanyl was involved in 93.1 percent of all opioid-related deaths and 83.9 percent of all fatal overdoses. This represents another record high for this deadly substance and illustrates the rapid pace at which fentanyl has come to dominate the supply of illicit opioids. According to the CDC, there were 81,230 drug overdose deaths in the United States in the 12 months ending May 2020, the largest number ever recorded for a 12-month period. During that period, drug overdoses increased by more than 18% in Maryland, resulting in the state being one of 25 with the highest increase.
